BURGLARY SUSPECT ARRESTED

Kenner, LA. - On Wednesday, September 01, 2010, Kendale Netterville, 18, who provided a home address of 2429 West Metairie Avenue, Kenner, was arrested and charged with simple burglary (3 counts), concerning three automobile burglaries that occurred in the 3600 block of Lake Trail Drive, in Kenner. 

 

On Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Kenner Police Officers responded to a suspicious person complaint called in by an alert citizen who observed an unidentified male subject looking into vehicles with a flashlight.  Officers investigating the suspicious person complaint located Netterville while he was burglarizing a vehicle in the 3600 block of Lake Trail Drive.  Netterville fled on foot and was located by detectives who responded to the area. 

 

Netterville was interviewed by Detectives Jesse Johnson and Charlotte Synigal.  During the interview, Netterville admitted that he rode a bike to the area, committed numerous vehicle burglaries, and was checking door handles for unlocked vehicles.  

 

At the time of this press release, Netterville remains in custody, no bond has been set.

Kenner man arrested for possessing child pornography

Kenner, La. -The Kenner Police Department and U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Fugitive Task Force arrested Juan Morales, 47, earlier this morning (Tuesday, August 31, 2010) at this residence located at 4041 Arizona Avenue, in Kenner.  Morales was arrested and charged with pornography involving juveniles (2-counts).

 

The investigation began on June 9, 2009, when Immigrations and Customs Enforcement Agents (ICE) learned Morales was purchasing child pornography from his home computer.  Agents interviewed Morales, who admitted viewing and purchasing both adult and child pornography from his home computer.  Morales’ home computer and approximately 155 compact disks were seized from his home.  A federal search warrant was issued for the forensic search of the home computer and disks seized.  As a result of the forensic search approximately 8,097 images and 123 video files of what appeared to be juveniles engaging in sexual activity and sexually explicit images of juveniles were recovered.     

 

The investigation was referred to the Kenner Police Department who obtained a warrant for Morales’ arrest.  At the time of this press release, Morales remains in custody, no bond has been set.
